About Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland on Lantau Island opened in 2005 and is one of the smaller — but most charming — Disney parks worldwide. It has seven themed lands: Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point. In late 2023 the park opened World of Frozen, the first Frozen-themed land at any Disney park globally — now one of the most photographed spots in the resort.
Ticket types
- 1-Day Standard Ticket — around HK$639 adult / HK$475 child (3–11). The most popular option.
- 2-Day Ticket — around HK$889, roughly 30% cheaper than two single-day tickets, valid on non-consecutive days.
- Magic Access annual pass — Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers; available to Hong Kong residents.
- Disney Premier Access — skip-the-queue add-on for popular rides; worth it on peak days.
- Dining vouchers & fireworks dinner packages — available on both Klook and Trip.com.
Best time to visit
Weekdays (Tue–Thu) are the quietest. July–August summer holidays, Christmas week, and Chinese New Year days 1–3 are peak — book dated tickets at least 2 weeks ahead. Don't miss Disney Halloween Time in October and A Disney Christmas in November–December.
How to get there
- MTR Disneyland Resort Line — change at Sunny Bay station, ~4 minutes by train. The easiest way.
- From the airport — take bus S1 to Tung Chung, transfer to the MTR Disneyland Line. ~40 minutes total.
- From Macau / Zhuhai — Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge → bus B6 → Sunny Bay → Disneyland Line.
FAQ
Q: Is Klook or Trip.com cheaper?
Prices are usually within 5% of each other. Klook runs frequent flash sales (often 10% off); Trip.com's strength is bundling with hotels and flights. Open both links above and compare today's price before you book.
Q: Can I enter the park with the e-ticket directly?
Yes. Both Klook and Trip.com email you a QR code after booking. Show it at the gate — no need to exchange for a physical ticket.
Q: Are tickets refundable?
Most standard tickets are non-refundable once issued, but date changes are usually allowed up to 48 hours before the visit. Date-specific and annual passes are typically non-refundable.
