About Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore is located inside Resorts World Sentosa and opened in 2010, making it the first Universal park in Southeast Asia. The park has seven themed zones: Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar. In early 2025 the park opened Minion Land — the third in the world and the first in Southeast Asia, already one of the most photographed areas of the park.

Ticket types

  • 1-Day Adult Ticket — around SGD 83 adult / SGD 62 child (4–12) / SGD 45 senior (60+).
  • Universal Express — about SGD 50–80 extra; one skip-the-queue pass per selected attraction.
  • Universal Express Unlimited — unlimited skip-the-queue, a must on peak days.
  • Sentosa combo — USS + S.E.A. Aquarium / Adventure Cove Waterpark / Madame Tussauds, up to 4-in-1.
  • VIP Experience — guided tour, lunch, all-attraction express access — the premium option.

Best time to visit

Singapore is warm year-round (28–32°C / 82–90°F), so the park is fine any month. Tuesdays to Thursdays are quietest. Seasonal events worth planning around: A Universal Christmas (December), Halloween Horror Nights (October), Lunar New Year. Avoid Singapore school holidays in May–June and November–December if you want shorter queues.

How to get there

  • Sentosa Express — from HarbourFront MRT, take the monorail to Waterfront Station, about 5 minutes.
  • Walking — from VivoCity mall cross the free Sentosa Boardwalk, about 10 minutes on foot.
  • From Changi Airport — MRT East-West line to Outram Park, transfer to North-East line to HarbourFront, around 40 minutes total.

FAQ

Q: Is Klook or Trip.com cheaper?
Prices are usually within 5% of each other. Klook runs frequent flash sales and member-only codes; Trip.com's strength is bundling with RWS hotels and flights. Open both links above and compare today's price.

Q: Do I need Universal Express?
On weekdays usually not. On weekends and holidays it's strongly recommended — Transformers: The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy and Battlestar Galactica often run 60+ minute queues.

Q: Can I enter the park with an e-ticket?
Yes. Both Klook and Trip.com email you a QR code after booking. Show it at the gate — no physical ticket exchange needed.
