About tickets.bj.cn
An independent travel information and booking-guide portal, focused on attraction tickets in Beijing and across China.
What we do
tickets.bj.cn is a travel content site for Chinese, English and Japanese readers. We cover top attractions in Beijing and across China — from world-heritage sites like the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and the Summer Palace, to family destinations like Hong Kong Disneyland, The Venetian Macao and Shanghai Wild Animal Park — and we turn the practical questions ("how do I buy a ticket, when should I go, what should I avoid") into long-form guides with clear tables, suggested routes and FAQs.
We don't pad with filler like "attractions are important in modern society." We write things like "closed Mondays — except Mondays in summer, when it stays open," "ignore the touts at the gate," and "the East Tongzi Corridor is quietest after 2pm." If you've ever been ripped off booking tickets before, you'll probably like this site.
What we don't do
- We do not sell tickets and we do not collect payments. All transactions are handled by our partner Klook Travel Technology Limited, a Hong Kong-registered travel e-commerce company, on their site www.klook.com.
- We are not the official website of any attraction. The Palace Museum, Universal Studios Beijing, Hong Kong Disneyland and others all run their own official channels. This site is an independent third-party information portal.
- We don't simply copy official data. When we cite ticket prices or opening hours, we tell you the source (the attraction's official site or Klook) and we update regularly. But the final word always lies with the attraction's official channels.
How we make money
When you click a "Book now" button on this site, get redirected to Klook and complete an order, we may earn a commission on that order. This is the standard affiliate marketing model. It does not increase your cost — the price you see on Klook is exactly what you'd pay if you went there directly.
We're upfront about this because we think transparency beats pretending to be objective. Yes, we tend to recommend products that are available on Klook, but our editorial opinions are independent: if an attraction isn't worth the trip, we'll say so.
Editorial principles
- First-hand verification. Each editor visits at least 5 of the attractions we cover in person every year.
- Specifics over generalities. "Subway Line 1, Tian'anmen East, Exit A, 12-minute walk to the Meridian Gate" — not "easy to reach by public transport."
- Admit when we don't know. If we can't verify something, we say "as of May 2026 — please confirm with the official site." We don't guess.
- Active corrections. Any error a reader reports gets verified and fixed within 48 hours.
