1. What it is
Opened in 2014, this is the water park attached to Happy Valley Shenzhen — adjacent but ticketed separately. The Maya theme runs through everything: pyramid silhouettes, Maya glyphs, sun-god reliefs — visually a lot more interesting than your average water park.
2024 added a "Maya Water Castle" kids' zone and an "EDM wave pool" (live DJs at night). With 30°C+ weather running for six months in Shenzhen, Maya Beach is the local default for cooling off from May to October.
2. Top 9 must-rides
- Sun God Tornado — giant funnel slide, ★★★★★ thrill.
- Maya Rainbow Racer — 6-lane racing slide.
- Chip & Dale Rapids — two-person tube slide.

- Happy Wave Pool — 1,200 sqm wave pool.
- Lazy River — 500 m float river.
- Maya Water Castle — kids' zone with a 10 m tipping bucket.
