1. What it is
Opened in 1993, this is China's first free-range safari park. 120 hectares of hilly terrain split into a drive-through zone (free-roaming predators), a walking zone (everything else), and Ocean World (the show area). 300+ species from five continents, including a few of China's only white Bengal tigers.
2. The 6 must-see zones
- Giant Panda House — two pandas, 3 feeding sessions per day.
- White Tiger zone (drive-through) — the rare white Bengal tigers free-roaming.
- African Savannah (drive-through) — giraffes, zebras, rhinos and hippos in the open.
- Ocean World — sea lion, dolphin and beluga shows, 4 sessions a day.
- Animal Theatre — elephant and monkey circus, 3 sessions a day.
- Cute-pet park — alpacas and mini-horses to interact with.
